I just watched “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and I loved it. Currently listening to “Sunrise” by Norah Jones. This is going to be a nice night. Hopefully full of dreams of something soft and comforting. 

Today my mom came home from work and she just looked so tired and worn out. I’ve never admitted this out loud or have let my brain consider it, but I feel her. The weight she caries around this house. My mother is tired and it hurts me. I don’t want to watch her be like this so I like to distract her. I don’t ask her about how work was because I want her to escape it all. When I talk to my mom, I want to fill her heart with warmth and love. I want to give her mind a break and give her a time to just breath. So instead I talked to her about what I want to escape. I tell her how silly I am in m y kickboxing class and how I’m having a great time. I laugh, hoping it’s contagious.My eyes catch the corner of her mouth curve into my favorite form. I live for moments like these.

If you’re reading this right now, whoever you are.. I want you to make a small prayer for my mother and my family. Pray that I will always be there for her, I’ll always be the muscles that fix that beautiful smile on her face. My mother deserves this and more. I love you mom. ♡

There will be a presentation and a few performances about the situation in Syria. If anyone would like to say a few words or recite a poem then please let us know. 
We will then all go outside and release the lanterns :) 
The lanterns will be sold $10 a piece and 100% of the profits go to Syria. Last lantern event, they raised $4,700. We want to raise much more than that. It’s your turn to do your part, help us make this happen!
